- Teen alcohol use kills about 6,000 people each year, more than all illegal drugs combined.
- In NJ, 27% of driving fatalities involve alcohol
These tragedies can be stopped. Although progress is being made, impaired driving and underage drinking remains a persistent problem. The financial and emotional cost associated with impaired driving fatalities is staggering. Yet it is entirely avoidable. Educating students, parents and teachers about the importance of making responsible decisions regarding alcoholic beverages and the dangers of underage drinking does make a difference. But we can’t do it without you. Your support will help us to make a difference.

Harmony Early Learning Center
The staff and parents at Harmony Early Learning Center have memorialized Amber with an Engraved brass leaf on the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life is a permanent memorial displayed at the MADD national office. As every leaf is unique, so is the life of every drunk driving victim. Because Amber touched each of us...family, students, parents and friends...with her love, caring and thirst for life she will never be forgotten. Thanks to everyone at Harmony for honoring Amber and helping in the fight to stop drunk driving .
